I'm after a new set of wheels and have a budget of £250 max. Ideally I would like the rear hub to make the lovely clicking noise that my current FSA RD420's make. Can anyone make any recommendations please?thumbup

Any dry free hub in need of lube probably.

The worst (I find it annoying) was the zipp 303 I had, the the Enve on CK hubs I have now are far more pleasant. Cliff Royce said to me that his hubs should be fairly quiet and if loud then something needed attention.

Thanks for the replies so far. Would anyone have any experience of these?

Does Hope do road hubs? The ones on my MTB can be heard from miles away.

Yep, mine do too - if they're running smoothly you can barely hear them

Same here, mine are as good as silent too.

The Novatec hubs on my old bike though, made a hell of a noise!

I have some of these on the commuter. They're brilliant because pedestrians on shared paths can hear me a mile off and get out of the way. No need for a bell biggrin
