Gipiemme GPM C47 carbon wheels

[Blowfish]

Does anyone have any experience of gipiemme wheels? I have been offered a brand new set of GPM C47 carbon clinchers for £750 and rrp on PlanetX is £999!

I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice regarding the Planet X RRP.

The Gipiemme rrp is €1500 so Planet X aren't far off.

There's not much info about the C47 but they used to make both rims and hubs in Italy.

The hubs certainly don't look like generic Chinese ones.

Rim profile looks quite rounded and 16mm internal 23mm external is fairly decent.

I'd not want to pay £750 for them though, more like £600 I'd say, warranty probably not transferable either.
