Hub gone?

Cycling to work this morning on a several-year-old pair of Easton EA90SLX. Stood on the pedals only to hear a slight crack/crunch somewhere from the rear. Now the rear wheel makes quite a graunchy sound when spun in either direction.

Something gone in the hub? Any ideas?
