Seen in a Mustang scrap yard LA California this week. It's the old body from VP that was only used in USA for very short time.

Now that´s what I call a "barn find", hope it finds a new owner who keeps it, and maybe cleans and polishes the fiberglass.
Did Slammin´Sammy use regular (modified) FC bodies or were these one-offs ?

I’d love to see someone build this back up for some exhibition runs.

Does anyone know the 1000ft time from his 3.58 1/4 mile? Be interesting to know how much faster it is than TF is now.

Do you have an original source for the photo too? Or do you know which scrapyard?

His 660ft 1/8 was 1.6 sec 319mph, 0-100 was 0.36sec. That's from 35yrs ago.
