Nice car Dom. Not aware of anyone using those neat mufflers over here.
No requirement except Street eliminator (redvictor)to run mufflers yet(i belive),but its comming

The most common mufflers used in drag racing or on pro street cars are Borla & flowmaster.

thanks, its for sale if you know anyone interested.. I bought it after giving up the dragracing scene and got bored of the hotrods.. time to move on again and i want an Ultima next.
Mufflers look neat... The mufflers are not under the car on an ultima so the old flowmasters etcetc tend to look abit old hat!!!!!!!! also i see no loss in power which any exhaust normally takes away??

I would imagine that they would muffle only if you had cotton wool in your ears..
I use merge collectors but they don't make it quiet.The turbos do that...

i ve never heard your car in its current setup, i only remember it in the early 90's when i was running superstreet bike.. Think you were normally aspirated then???

It was on nitrous in the early 90's.

yep,and 7.41 and 197mph is the fastest so far.Next year a lot faster.
And before any sh ithead comes on here to bh and moan it was on ET streets and
VP Q16.
but driven on the road like that last weekend with a young lad who won a competition with a friend's football team..

Redvictor beat me to it. 95db is gonna p/off your neighbours and be very wearing on the road. Mind you a V8 behind you who cares;)

but will the silencers last.... i dont mind 95dp as my tiger is louder than that, but when i do an ultima and have to go through a SVA they will mind about the noise.....

still think in the 7 's is fantastic...when i was racing some funny cars were in the low 7's at the pod due to traction.. top fuel bikes in the 6's

fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! i might pick your brains one day as ive looked at twin turboing a ls2 engine or even a big diesel for the ultima(another idea) but costs main problem...costs!!!!!!!always been my problem with getting on with things..i have the ideas and tech knowledge just missing that well paid job

Gsxr......mmm those were the days.... great fun...very much remembered and always thought of!!!! bike was nuts for a 750 and suprised alot, even better with 1340 engine though i never got that 8.....only managed 9.02,9.03,9.03,9.03.9.03,9.05 Mr consistant i was but also Mr unlucky!!!!!

wish i still did it , gave me such a buzz
