New NHRA website??

Hi ,is it me or is it slow to load,i'm using firefox.

in my opinion they should have introduce the new website at least a week earlier,to check it running ok, not on the day nhra first meeting start.

Just wondering if anyone else is having real problems with it at the moment...
Tried yesterday and today from different pc's and, after a few minutes of trying to load, I just get a blank screen with 'Done' at the bottom!!
Using internet explorer on both machines!!
Reeeeeeeeally frustrated!!!

It really is a terrible website, built by someone with no idea about usability or accessibility. Oh, and it is also currently dead for me too!

Looks like NHRA has decided in their wisdom to block overseas IP addresses as its working in the US, either that or there is a major routing problem with their server.

I've dropped Phil Burgess an email to see if he knows whats going on with it... Will let you know if he has any answers.

I think you are right Chris - it works fine from work (US company, most websites pick my IP as being from the US) but doesn't work from home.

Looks like actually there's just a DNS problem as although www.nhra.com does not work http://nhra.com does resolve ok. So just leave your www.'s behind.

You might also need an audiocast link which may or may not work as I don't know if the mediacast checks to see if you've accessed it through the www.nhra.com domain or not.

Also, use http://beta.nhra.com/audiocast/ for the audiocast, as the link from http://beta.nhra.com to the audio link sends you to the new www.nhra.com/audiocast which doesn't work for us.
