Yellow S2000 spotted Derby

Just wanted to say hello to whoever it is in the Derby area who has the yellow s2000 with a piston heads smilie on the rear right. Passed me this morning on my commute in to work just before Kilburn turn off of the A38.

I've seen you a few times going in the northern direction too and was just wondering who it is

I’m guessing if you had an S2000, ladyboy blue would be your primary choice? Yellow looks great on them.

If memory serves the Engineering Explained supercharged S2000 was yellow.

I have to say, the S2000 is the car I get most random conversations out of. I've had a few interesting cars over the years, but I reckon one journey out of every four I end up with someone complementing it.

I think it's effectively like wearing a big badge that says "I like cars!"; I doubt there is a single S2000 owner out there in 2026 who isn't a petrolhead.
