Anyone who's seen my recent threads will know I've been thinking about buying an old Civic.
Here it is ....
It almost looks like a brand new car. It was diligently cared for by it's previous owners, and prepared to a high standard including Lanoguard. The leather seats show almost no wear, and the carpets and all the controls look brand new. It drives superbly.
Many thanks to Jason at VW Beetle and Son, who described the car accurately, was very patient, answered all my questions and was a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend. smile

Well done SS, looks like you got a good one. Just make sure you keep the undersealing up if you're keeping it long term, my advice would
be to keep it off the roads that have been salt gritted over the coming winter.

Thanks, it's a 1.6 auto, and while I've never been a big fan of autos, I think now I'm an old man it probably suits me.
Good advice. If I have to go out when the roads are salty I may get a bus or taxi!

Is it a trick of the light or is the rear quarter a different shade of silver?

I think it may be the light and the angles of the surfaces. They look the same below the swage line where the door ant the quarter panel set at the same angle. It shows no sign of over spray or thin lacquer or colour difference walking round.I will take some photos when the light is good, in a shadow free area.
