clicking noise, help

hey everyone

i have just bought civic type-r on 52 reg and when i put key in the ignition and turn it on without starting the car

i get a clicking/ticking noise from under bonnet, then when i start car, the ticking goes away, any ideas what it could be ??

It's a time bomb,if you dont rag it into vtec and enjoy it will blow up

Could be the headlight motors.
