Uneven Brake Pad Wear

Hi All,

Had a great time at Cadwell park on Friday. Though as the track dried I noticed a significant discrepancy in the wear on my front brake pads. The passenger side was wearing about twice as fast as the driver side. So a question to the more experienced and more mechanically minded. Has anyone else experienced this and if so what would typically be causing it? Worn discs perhaps?

Sticky caliper, either on pas side sticking on a bit, or drivers not working much.

Was one side hotter than the other on your after session tyre pressure checks?

I'd say sticky caliper for sure, not returning after you let off the brake pedal.

could be pistons or caliper runners - I had a 405 that used to have problems with the guide pins when running it on track.
