HANS device

Hi, I’d like to pick up a HANS device for upcoming track days. Not sure where to start, advice appreciated. There’s a big price difference, what does the extra money get you? More comfort, light weight, better safety???

More expensive ones tend to be lighter but from a safety perspective there is no real difference. It's a very simple (but effective) bit of kit

I wear a hans and don't even think about it now. The more expensive ones are lighter, but do the same job. I fitted extra gel padding as the standard foam rubbed my collar bone

If you don't have a 6 point harness, look at the Simpson hybrid. The sport s works with 3 point seat belt but it's expensive.
