Speak to Steve at Simply Tyres in Corby 01536 264800. Apparently he's the cheapest around by far.

thanks paul. ive read plenty of "which tyre" threads discussing toyo vs yoko vs dunlop etc... but very few actually recomend anywhere to get them. prices seem to vary wildly.

also found these guys who do yoko and toyo www.camskill.co.uk

anyone have any experience with them?

I used Camskill to buy some 888's last year. They had them in stock and I got them quickly. They seemed good on price too.

Believe me the prices from Simply Tyres will not be beaten. Tyres for the 18" GT3 MK2's were being sold at £580 per set inc VAT and free delivery on a set of 4. Believe me that's cheap...

No, I got mine from Dartford Tyres for £630 fitted(inc £40 cashback offer). The Simply tyres offer is a good one, but you'll need to find a fitter at about £10 a corner. That puts the price I paid and the price at Simply very close together. Dartford Tyres are right opposite my office and Dave has fitted/swapped many of my existing tyres and wheels foc in the past, so I decided to keep giving them my business. But there's no doubt the TOYO's are bloody good vfm at the moment. Wonder how long it will last.

thanks steve,

I think i will order another set for my black wheels from them.

The gt3 is going to parr on friday for the discs (that seized bolt), their stage 1 set up, and the ram air spoiler.

I spoke to nervous today who has had the Parr ecu upgarde and airfilter and ram spoiler. He says the difference is very noticable.

How did the stage 1 go? What did Parr do? They have quoted for doing this work on my (girls) C4S - would you recommend it?

Cheers,
Marc

yes I was pleased, but difficult to be certain because my original setup was so weird that perhaps anything was an improvement. Will go back to them for the stage 2 soon.

Only worth it if you do track days of course, as the standard road setup on the C4s im sure is perfect.

Demon Tweeks beat Camskill like for like on 1st call for my 205/50/15s. Camskill claim to price beat, but to be honest i'd ratehr go with someone who'll give me a cheaper price the first time rather than have to do some delboy bartering.

Are the prices people are being quoted cheaper than buying direct from Toyo?

did you try Reyland? been doing lots across the Ford forums and 205gti boys did big group buy off him

I've had 4 or 5 sets for my Sierra and he was at least as cheap as Camskill on the 18's and now 19's for my 996TT smile

I got a very good quote for 888's from Camskill via e mail, but I rang them for 2 days straight and they never answered thier phone!!!So I called Reyland, got an answer 1st time and got my 888's delivered for the same price as Camskill quoted. So because camskill didnt answer their phone they lost my business, and in future I'll be calling Reyland for my 888's!!Regards,Micky

Camskill did mine for £141 delivered, vs £195 on the toyo site.

Ryland were a £5 more but didn't answer the phone and Camskill did...

Can anyone get the simply tyres website to work!? It seems to be 'down' at the moment.

Camskill are seconded over here, cheap as Iv found.
