Having just heard about my mates cousin who has ended up in Intensive Care after a track mishap, I have been reviewing my lake of safety...

Does anyone know a company based in London (N) that can supply and fit a roll cage to a Lotus Elise S2 ? As a hint, it is proving to be a really tall order. Our friends at D Tweaks deal with the big three manufactures and none make a cage for it !! Any ideas??

Custom Cages make one although they aren't based in London. They do supply for DIY fitting though.

For a moment I thought; "lake of safety", haven't heard of that one before, some new metaphor about space and time to absorb a mistake?

I suppose if you roll a car you do end up in deep water.

The Elise already has a pretty hefty roll bar on it and a full blown cage for trackdays is probably overkill but given that you know someone who's injured themselves seriously on a track, I undersand where you're coming from.

These guys http://www.sinclairebodyshop.co.uk/ fit cages for the LOT Elise Trophy and should be able to advise you.
