I know this might seem a lsightly odd question in June, but do trackdays continue thruought the winter? Are there less of them 'out of season' or something?

(I just vageuly remember seeing trackdays advertised as 'the first of the season' or words to that effect in the past!)

nope - they run all year - i prefer winter track days - often less people, track often "moist" which encourages better driving and the cold air makes the old car run sooo much better!

There are less of them about. Also, cost is considerably less. and as stated above you have a good chance of having a wet track.

Like most things they are more fun in the sun.

Is that an E30 325 I see on your profile? smile

That's more or less what we were intending to run on 'said winter track days.

The reason I ask is we're looking for a car to do the Scumball next summer and considering the possiblity of getting something soon-ish and using it for a few track days and maybe something like some autotests in the meantime.
