OK we all have the Racing drivers Book of Excuses as to why we weren't quite as quick as we should have been, So in the same spirit I'd like to point out that this is the first attempt at taking pics of cars on track. The camera is capable of producing frozen shots of cars but the point was to try and get some feeling of motion so some imperfection is present.
Anyway here's the link; hope your car is here;

Just uploading to FlickR, but here's a shot of the Ferrari taken by trackphoto.co.uk
I was passed by him after Cascades and I could smell hot/burning fibreglass, ran through my mental checklist and discounted it being me.
He slowed for traffic at Island bend as I caught up, I saw flames at first thought it was on the over-run. Into Shell I realised it was worse and tried to get his attention by flashing my lights, though realised it in vain.
I was dissapointed in the Marshalls not signalling him if he was unaware, and expected a "race driver" to stop at a Marshalls post if he was aware.
Though him continuing did prevent a red flag situation, unfortunatly he was dropping burning/melted fibreglass/other on the track.
