First Track Day Next Week

A fellow PHer and myself are heading to Oulton Park next wednesday for an afternoon session in his blade engined fisher fury, having never done a track day before I'm really looking forward to some legal hooning! Any others going to be there??? Also any handy pointers??

Not the same one, but I'm taking my Fury on track for the first time next Saturday at Lydden Hill . Hope you enjoy it

Take a few spare parts and make sure the breakdown cover is up to date.

Take some money (for a can of pop and a rat burger).

Look at the weather...if its hot and sunny take suncream and sunglasses, if its wet pack some wet weather gear.

Spanner check of the car and make sure the fluids are fresh and there is meat on the brake pads and tyres.

Listen to the briefing.

Use your mirrors.

Use the instructors.

Have fun!!

Thankfully we're taking it down on a trailer, save's any hassle, touch wood Matt will be working hard over the weekend making sure its all ship shape and ready to go, will no doubt bring a couple of handy spanners!
