Static vs Drive by noise testing

You wont have any problem. My 911 does about 100db static and a lot of the noise dissipates on drive by. You'd need a really noisy car to clock 98db driveby.....;)
Depends on the car. I was at a Goodwood quiet day today which is 98dB static, 96dB drive-by. I scraped by the static, no problem on drive-by, but someone else with an Exige was fine on static, but managed to trigger all the drive-by meters in one lap, averaging over 100dB. He had to keep it below 6000 rpm for the rest of the day!Forum | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
