Yep, we'll be there in a brace of Peugeot 205's. One with a recently rebuilt engine on a new cam with 0 miles on it !.. so that should be an interesting session !

I'll be trying my best to break a Yellow Pug... I normally manage hahahahaaa

Cheers

Mark

Click on 2007 and there should be some Croft incar footage there.

Absolutely brilliant day yesterday. Both our Pugs were in Session 1 throughout the day. One of our lot had a bit of an issue with his Clio g/box which really really decided it was determined to deposit it's contents including the gears onto the track on the last session in the afternoon.

Made one hell of a mess, no idea as the moment what it did !

Personally had great fun chasing down Porsche Turbo S and an RS4. I do cheat slightly running on full slicks !!!

How did you get on ?

13/08 Update
Further investigation proved that the gearbox remained intact on the Clio and "other" large metallic parts were responsible for significant damage.

Thought it was excellent smile Managed to bag a free instructor for a session which was helpful. My Smart wasn't quite the slowest car in my group, I managed to pass a Seat Leon Cupra whose drivers were on their first ever trackday. I seemed to be able to keep up with people through Barcroft, Sunny In and Sunny Out but obviously I got dropped on every straight! Also lost loads of time every lap on the hairpin, even with instruction I struggled to get that right.

Watched the afternoon session for a bit and saw you take out the 911, nice one biggrin

I also caught you on video, I'll try and get that on YouTube at some point.

Steve

I popped along for the 1st session to get a few pics. What cars were people in and i'll see what shots i've got. Red/Blue and RB320 Scoobies, bodykitted 206, s2000?

On a side note we're currently in development of www.trackd.co.uk, which is going to be a place where all things Trackday/Motorsport at Croft can be discussed, share vids and pics, and all in one place.

With so many car forums it can be hard finding all the videos and pictures from each trackday. We're hoping to team up with the local photographers and drivers to get more footage and shots.

Please sign up, hoping to launch it properly very soon
cheers
Gary

Cheers Gary, I'd love to see any shots you have. Blue/Silver Smart Roadster for me. Blackscooby was in the yellow 205 GTI I think.

Cheers,

Steve

Steve,

Would it be ok to put those videos on the Croft video section of Track'd?

We're looking to get more people to register on the forum. If anyone is interested we hope to get both regulars and new trackday'ers to contribute with links and photos, overall helping everyone smile

Millband,

Excellent stuff, thanks for that. I uploaded some of my incar stuff last night, but some some reason it failed on youtube. I'll have another go tonight.
