Snetterton August 12th?

Didn't take the Ult in the end (bottled it when I saw the weather forecast). Took the g/fs 964 C2.
What a thoroughly enjoyable day, with immaculate maners from all I saw on track. Bumper to bumper stuff with the indication as soon as you got on the straight. Really good fun.
The Carrera takes a bit of getting used to, especially with 1min 30 laps comared to the Ults 1.15. But the fun level was the same and I was amazed that a 16yr old car could still mix it with the 888 shod modern stuff.
Once I got used to being buzzed by allsorts (mini with Hodnda engine etc) I settled into a rythm and could explore this legendary pork handling....
....my, my how easy these Porker boys have it. Such a predictable car to drive, chuckable like you can't imagine.
Throughly recommend getting an old s
tter for track use if you can. I was on some dodgy old road tyres and they were brill when it started to rain.
Had a few tank slappers out of the second corner, but that is where you can explore the car if noone is tailing you!!
Got some shakey vid that I'll post soon, so you can have a giggle at the amount of tyre squeal going on!!
Anyway. Hats of to the other drivers. Great day.
