It is expensive - relative to historical pricing at Donington. However, circuit hire rates have increased dramatically this year (for obvious reasons in hindsight!) and we were keen to continue with the low-volume, open pit lane format which inevitably forces the prices up.

I beleive we're the only TDO now offering main season, full day, open pit lane events at Donington Park. It's also a premium event being a Saturday during the Summer - as is evident by the fact that the event is fully subscribed!

For a long time Donington has been chasing the heels of Silverstone and Brands GP in terms of perceived value - despite being a much better drivers circuit (IMO). Hopefully with the F1GP developments and some better coverage this balance can be re-addressed.

Finally, I know there's a few people who assume BaT have just got greedy this year and put the prices up - our margins now at Donington are actually less than they were when I started organising events 10 years ago - for a significantly higher risk!

Yeh it's expensive, I paid £235 and still wouldn't call that cheap. But as long as all/most places sell it means the price is right.

Went to this today , Blue Atom , great day , very well run.

Only downside was the the catherhams seemed to think they owned the bloody place!

was there today, great fun, another well organised day, have to say i found most driving of good standard and the weather held out as well.
