It's frozen until 10:40. Then the sun comes out for a while. Everybody rushes out onto the track and Porsche GT3 crashes at Hocheichen. This closes the circuit until 11:50, by which time you're eating pfefferschnitzel at the Imbiss in Adenau. By the time you get back to the circuit it will be raining and closed because a BMW M Coupe has gone arse first into the armco at the exit of Karuseell. You sit in the Grune Holle, drinking coffee and wondering whether the proprietor's daughter is going to turn up in her long stockings/short skirt/low cut top combo.

You then get bored, drive down to Brunnchen to get some currywurst, realise the track has opened and hurry back, getting t-boned by a Mercedes E280 Wagon at the B258 junction. Recovery back to the UK.

It is still raining.

Prepare for crap weather, i.e. leave any semblence of pure trackday tyre at home. I'm going over on the 1st weekend in a caterham, so may see you there.

Sun, Rain, Wind and maybe snow.

Plan for one of those and you`ll be fine.

Seriously, the weather is so changeable there, it could be anything.

I was there in May. Hot and sunny one day, thick fog the next. Completely irrelevant to October though.

Roflcopter for Mr Roo laugh.
