I went to one of these days a couple of months ago with work, it was fantastic.

If I coupld afford to go from my own wallet, I'd be there in a shot. Well recommended to anyone who's considerign it.

Lewis.

Gonna Fax this off later today.....just need to sort out the whole finance thing first. I was looking at doing a normal driving experience next year, you know the type, get 6 laps in a restricted Formula Ford etc, but this looks fantastic......I can't wait! biggrin

A scanned document is ok if you don't have a fax machine.

Why the MSV check for competition licence holders? I have a Nat. A licence, so I'd like to know before applying?

Hi Stig

Not sure TBH, MSV asked me to make that clear in the article, so I did. Maybe they don't want anyone 'handy' there hehe

There's a competitive element to the day. If you're currently running around competing then you have, in theory, an advantage which the others do not. There's also the other element which is that Palmesport will know that someone who is competing is more likely to be "mechanically demanding" of the car. There may also be a liability insurance aspect to the question as well.

Introduction - Greg Lewis of PalmerSport - one of the team behind setting up the PH PS day!
My full contact details are on the booking form on the website.
Thanks for all the interest - great to be involved with PHers!

Regards competition licences - we need to go through a quick authorisation for many reasons.
Partly because JP wants to know who's driving his cars! Partly because of insurance requirements and partly in consideration of "mechanical sympathy". We only allow each driver to win one activity trophy and the driver of the day trophy, otherwise there are no restrictions.
(May seem unfair to first timers on our event but there's no stopping "handy" drivers showing up on our day. Of course if you are "handy" you can always bow out of the trophies!).
Very rarely do we turn anyone away - although we may apply special terms.

I'll only log on occasionally so if you need a quick answer please email me.
