Don't think we'll have a replacement box by then... Bummer! The long straights don't suit the 205 either. As I might be local, I may pop down in something to see how its all going. Anyone wanna give me some Pax laps!smile

You gonna be in your Caterham F355GTS? New engine you say? Direct replacement or something even betterer?

I'll be there in a red Caterham... will come and say hallo...

Yes in the Caterham, putting the 275 Engine in as we speak, needs running in (new rings, bearings, valve seats, guides etc) so I'll just be going round and round in the morning, Oil change at Lunchtime and a few more beans in the afternoon smile

Its looking like the weather is going to be decent for Friday (keeping fingers crossed).

Any idea of the numbers going?? Got my confirmation of booking but no other details yet, what time do you need to be there for the briefing?

Briefing is at 9.30, best to get noise tested and sign-on before that

Yes it was a good day yesterday!!

Despite initially failing the noise test at 102db after it warmed up a bit I scraped a 99.8!!

Lots of track time and according to Jake it was a pretty fast day!! I managed about 5 sessions before being black flagged......

Apparently there was quite a bit of smoke puffing out on the slow corners....I thought all 911's did that!!

Everything seems ok but i think the leaks onto the heat exchangers were becoming a bit too much for a trackday.
