Damp Donnington
Discussion
Track day at Donnington tomorrow, looks as though will be damp at best, wet at worst. Any tips for Donny in these conditions? Only ever done it dry; I suspect Craners won't be flat in the wet. Any specifically treacherous corners? When I did Oulton in the wet it wasn't too bad apart from Druids which was horrific-cars sliding off all over the shop.

I found turn 1 is quite slippy online. Generally Donny is pretty slippy in the wet, the (apparent) mix of aviation fuel and tarmac design means it's extra slippy when greasy.
Take it easy and enjoy yourself. You'll find there are a lot of people at extremely slow paces, I've out dragged evo's / scoobys etc out of the old hairpin many times in the wet where they don't dare put power down.
It's a battle to get heat into the tyres, the slower you go the slower you end up going.
