Novice track day - Brands 1st Oct - any pics?

Hi all,

I'm waiting for RawAction to upload their pics of the day but wondered if anyone on here was there and took some pics/vids? Just curious, was my first track day, I got a couple of pics myself but nothing too great....too busy driving

Thanks Graham, it was filthy dirty though, needed a clean!

I had a great day, took it easy at first, finding my feet etc. As the day went on my confidence in the car and the track grew and grew with the last session being my favourite of the whole day I reckon - testing myself against a 911 Turbo was great fun too! I loved being able to really see what the Tuscan could do, albeit on a relatively small track. Had to firm up the Nitrons a few clicks through the day but that was only as I was rubbing the rear nearside tyre a little on the wheel-arch at the bottom dip at Paddock..

The car behaved/performed fantastically and I think I am officially "hooked"

Cheers Graham, I'll bear the Rockingham day in mind. Your Spa/Ring trip is something I'd love to do one day, can't do this year but next year hopefully,

I was only in a Vectra, but had a great day. Very well run, very well behaved drivers, quiet track etc. ace day all round! They are doing another one in November, i'll be there!

Did you see the MX-5 roll? When we arrived it was going out on the back of a trailer!

I'm just flicking through the rawaction gallery now, just got the email from them. Some great photos!

I didn't see the Mazda go over but heard the screech and took a walk up to Clark to have a look. It was upside down in the gravel so we were a bit worried about the guys in it but they got out ok with no harm done, apart from to the MX5....

IIRC it was a girl who had hired an MX-5 for the track day. She was fine, The car was not!
