Hi folks, my first trackday in a couple of years.
Im probably taking my mx5(yellow), but if i get the exhaust done in time, might take the locost Blackbird along.

Anyone else going from here?

Not going (!) but intrigued by your car. I have read some stuff about the Blackbird gear ratio's not being ideal with available car final drive ratio's, is this true? The Blackbird doesnt seem to be such a popular choice of bike engine for a car.

I have a Locoblade so might want to upgrade from 900cc engine sometime.

the main problem with the blackbird is that it really requires a dry sump, im playing around with an accusump device as a cheaper and easier work around.
i calculated top speed at around 115mph, which is ok for me.
i might be wrong as ive not had it over about 50mph... yet.

personally id stay with what you have, and spend the money on lighter/better components, brakes for example.

btw, do you know the weight of your car?
i have very little on my car, no lights, one seat, small fuel tank.
when i used the bathroom scales it came out at about 360kg.
id be interested to know what yours is as i assume the engine is roughly the same weight.
