Bruntingthorpe this weekend... and in the future.
Discussion
I live in the village of Bruntingthorpe and have heard what seemed like quite a lot of action on the aerodrome today? Just wondered if any of you guys new anything about it, might pop down tomorrow morning if it is worth it.
I will also take this opportunity to ask if any of you know the schedule or when anything might happen at Bruntingthorpe in the future. People say it is great for your first track day experience and been as I live soooo close it would be a shame not to use it. The thing is the organisers/owners don't tell us when anything is on (a lot of the locals are very much against the noise and I think that they don't want anyone organising a protest).
Thanks

I think that it was just a red letter / experience day as is quite common at Brunt - I passed 2 lambos and 2 ferraris near to the main entrance at about 7pm.
bigthunder.co.uk organise track days there but havn't done one for a while. Other clubs hire the site out also, but the vmax thread says that there are too many cars parked up there at the moment.
It's a good first track day as you are unlikely to damage your car and the faster/more experienced can get past you on the long straight leaving you to concentrate on your own driving. Pretty harsh on tyres though as some of the corners are still fairly rough concrete.
