After a few years on RWD cars, I loved the lift off oversteer then power out way of going round corners on a recent VXR trackday. My question is, are lower powered cars as capable at doing this, or does the lack of grunt make them more difficult to control/recover? For example, could I have as much tail out fun in something like a 1.8 mk1 focus?

Older Peugeot's are well known for LOO.

205, 106, 306 Gti's...

Not too sure on the LOO capabilities of the Focus, but it is a good handler.

You can do it in small fwd hatches, but it requires a lot more commitment!

I've not posted this for a while, this seems the perfect excuse:

Focus' handle very well I believe so I can't see why you couldn't have some fun with it smile
