although it was pissing rain, so maybe none!!!!
it was xtreme photography who seemingly left after an hour! i have emailed them to ask if they have any pictures. i will let you know...although it was pissing rain, so maybe none!!!!
shame we never got to see each other on the track... i spent most of the day getting stuck behind the 911s who appeared to be a bit scared!! one of the black 997's overtook my brother in his z3 on the long straight and then aquaplanned off at around 130mph on to the grass!!
I was there too, great day in terms of learning more car control!
I was in the white Celica GT4 with the Toyota Sprint Series stickers on it.
Wet track days are great IMO, low tyre wear, no worries about over heating the oil or brakes and loads of time to get used to on-limit handling in a low grip situation!
If you do manage to find any photos mate would be good to see if they got any of mine.
Cheers,
Baz

i suppose a wet track day is one way to get around the noise restrictions at bedford , as would of thought u may not b pushing to hard , but then again mr porsche doing 130 then aqua planned didnt think bout that

i used it as an opportunity to really push my car without the worry of damaging it. it is the perfect place to learn how your car handles on the limit (in my case - finding out the 205 wants to kill you at every opportunity!) i was using the cars desire for oversteer to help me round all the corners. it also happens to be great fun trying to tame it! andy kirby said:

That yellow 106 was one of the fastest cars there as far as I could see - he seemed to be passing everything ! He should have some good footage.i suppose a wet track day is one way to get around the noise restrictions at bedford , as would of thought u may not b pushing to hard , but then again mr porsche doing 130 then aqua planned didnt think bout that
I was in a little white Scimitar SS1. It was the first time I'd tried this car on a track and really enjoyed it. The wet conditions meant a lot of tail-out slides through some of the bends and the car needs a bit more power for the straights but I got it as a cheap track fun car and it certainly lived up to that. Unfortunately the brakes cooked fairly quickly which is surprising considering how slippy it was, so I'll need to do something about that before my next trackday.
