205 GTI - best brake pads for track?
Discussion
I have standard calipers and 160bhp with slicks. EBC yellow stop me fine, time after time. Don't even think about Greens! EBC got some bad rep, but in the last year I defy you to find someone who has a bad word to say about(YELLOW ONLY!) them when considering a price to performance ratio.
Not sure what pad fits a 'v6 brembo'?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, they are the brembo 4 pot's off of the 406 coupe. Not sure what pad fits a 'v6 brembo'?
I have to agree, you are not stopping a 1300kg saloon car here, more like 800 kilos. My mi16 stops fine with EBC yellows on slicks. I reckon you get about 1.3/1.4* times the stopping power with them as well, when compared to normal road tyres.
- 1.4 times is estimated obviously, its not double, and its unlikely to be 50% extra, but certainly a lot more.
