I had every intention of coming along but seeing as the engine blew up only the other week and Brands and got the car back today complete with a new engine thought I should let it run in first.

Will have to wait till Jan.

I think it's going to be the last chance to get on Silverstone GP until March 2009. They've got some building to do.

Something to do with... building you a special naughty step and some new pits down the bottom somewhere so they can have race meetings on the Nat & Southern on the same day.

March?! What am I going to do????? We using South instead?

I'll be there on the 13th, going to be fun with OPL and I am sure it's going to be icy in the morning!

Dear Mr Shedwards, can you fix it for me to be a nicer driver. Can you exercise your skills to slow me down to your speed and stop me irritating everyone?

Do you like Curly Wurlys, son? biggrin

Looks like the rain/sleet forecast is coming in overnight and should clear by mid morning

They have now changed their minds so it could be all as normal in the New Year.

Isn't that grooming?

(I'm not implying he wouldn't be yours for a Curly Wurly)

Well we were in the pub by 12:30 and home by 10pm...(jeeez that is nearly a 10hr session) think I spent more on booze than I would have done on petrol/tyres and brakes!!!!!!

So, I extend the friendly hand of Christmas spirit to the Gixer (albeit, bribed by the chocolates of the man from Sussex) and what happens?

Even the Gods don't want the Gixer on a Gold Track day and send us floods, pestilence and plague.

It's the first Gold Track day ever not to run at all. Everyone is having a full credit towards another day and that includes Mr Gix so that means he shall walk once more amongst us... and we don't know when.

It will now sort the men from the boys... bearing in mind that some who campaigned so vigourously for his re-birth didn't actually show up on the day.
