Hi

I wondered if anyone had any recommendations where to take a gravel stage group n cosworth for a week of fun? I'm currently in guernsey and you can't use it here.

Are there any tracks around or test stages that can be used?

Need to stretch the cars legs and mine.

Took ours to Oulton on tuesday, great fun, just about right for a rally car, but you might want to watch the gearing - our is flat out at 110mph and it needed another gear on most of the straights.

mines geared to 150 so no problems, have an original box as well so could re gear it for slower stages.

Really after taking it away and using it for a week not just one track day but don't want to pay for a week of track days in case she encounters mechanical gremlins or my inexperience causes me problems.

So wanted maybe a test stage. Anyone know anyone with a rally course in his back garden?

I'm officially now your best friend.

What sort or track is it?

I used to have one in my fathers field but it annoyed the neighbours

With your location I would advise looking at Tracks in France, not much help sorry.

It's about 8 miles long but it's part gravel, part potholes, but mainly mud with 4 foot sheer drops through an old quarry, might send the struts through the bonnet on a gravel car!

next time your there video it and put it on youtube, would be good to see it.

What do you use on it, a 4x4 offroader or a rally car and how do you get to use it?
