Hi guys,

Having a birthday and Xmas in the same month, I had the usual question of "what do you want?". Well Ive always wanted to do a driver experience day or some such event so after some suggestions or recommendations of days you have done.

My thinking is a full day event that is suited to improving my driving (Really not interested in 'driving a super car for 3 laps' type of day). having thought it through don't really want to do it in my car, but would like the car type to be relevant to driving my car if possible(Mitsubishi Evo).

As we are buying a house next year money is an issue so a limit of £300 has been imposed by the OH

have had a look and found a few that look promising:

The full day for one person

But just read the DDD thread so now put off this one

http://www.carlimits.com/
looked at this as well but factor in new tyres, brake pads, fuel plus possible discs and clutch it would push the true price up higher. Also I feel i would hold back more in my own car, not experiencing driving near the limit, which is the idea of the day biggrin

Thanks in advance

Chris

or find a mate who also has a £300 budget and go halves on a BaT CaT for the day - still get plenty of track time even between 2 of you.
