I'm looking to do an open pit lane day in Jan/Feb at Snetterton.

How many cars should I expect to be there? I'm going in a 106 so won't be the quickest.

What is the difference between the MSV and BAT days below (other than date and price)? Why is BAT mor expensive?

Thanks

I can't give you a definitive answer, but here's some factors that will contribute to the price difference.

1) BAT don't charge for extra drivers/passengers - MSV charge £25 & £10 respectively
2) The MSV event is 2 weeks earlier and is a joint event with the free, thankyou one for us motorsport marshalls
3) BAT charge £5 less for instruction
4) MSV own the place, so can charge themselves less to hire the place than they charge 3rd parties

JUST DONE SNETTERTON IN NOVEMBER - WILL BE UPTO 60 CARS BUT NEVER ALL ON TRACK AT THE SAME TIME
YOUR CAR WILL BE FINE. THERE WERE KA`S , ROVERS, PUGS ETC ALL AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS AND ABILITIES.

IT`S A GREAT DAY OUT - ENJOY THE BOMB HOLE BEND

Also BaT restrict the number of cars booked which will mean no queueing to get on track wink

BaT definitely recommended as a TDO. MSV days can have loads of traffic. The traffic isn't too much of a problem at Snett but at Brands it can spoil your day.

If you're running a 106 you'll have a lot more fun at a handling circuit like Cadwell or Oulton than at Snett.

Thanks all.

Sounds like BaT would have been slightly better, but have gone with MSV as I've done hree novice days with them and they've all been run very well.

I agree Snett is the best track, but I am looking at having my first race (ever) there in March, so practice will be useful. Also going to do my license there in Feb.

Thanks for the help.
