Llandow in Wales are always relaxed with ages...i think some track day organisers are a bit more relaxed with those with a race licence...im pretty sure i did a track day at Donnington after passing my ARDS aged 15 with an instructor although things may have changed a bit now!

Llandow is worth a try...great track to start on and quite cheap too!

Hope that helps

as michal said llandow allow young drivers with no experience out with instructors and when more experienced out on their own.

The package I offer for junior drivers is a training day at my airfield venue and then we can do trackdays on goldtrack events with no licence (I sign driver off as capable of passing ARDS). I have to be in car with junior driver at all times on circuit

Take the ARDS (race licence) test and you can then go out at most circuits accompanied by me. MSV circuits (brands, oulton, cadwell, snetterton) require junior drivers to be in T-car, junior ginetta or saxmax racecars.

hope that helps

Every track day I've ever heard of will take under 18s? Not sure what problem you're having?

It says that a Uk driving license is required. You can acquire your driving license at 17 years old which is, as I am sure you know under 18.

At most circuits under 16's are not allowed on the pit wall, let alone on track.

Its ironic isn't it. I was coaching a Saxmax driver last year at Snetterton (14 years old), who was'nt alloud on the pit wall but could drive round the circuit at speed.... funny old world! Best bit of all was we had some serious car issues so hardly got on track at all and whilst waiting for parts to be collected, the driver came over and informed me "I'll be doing my home work in the dinner if you need me"!!! Classic wink
