its getting hard to justify the price of a ring trip these days.
the poor exchange rate and 'ring lap ticket prices make doing a few more UK trackdays seem the better option.
my plan is to take a whole week and spend at least 3 days around nurburg and then sightseeing on the way there and back! weekends and holiday weekends are a bad idea! maybe may or june. see you therethe poor exchange rate and 'ring lap ticket prices make doing a few more UK trackdays seem the better option.
To be honest the exchange rate is just one of those things, but the price of lap tickets is just taking the p1ss nowadays and the exchange rate is just making it obvious. It's a real shame, but it's getting to the point where it's too difficult to justify. I'd rather spend the money on proper track days and be sure of decent track time for what it costs now.

True enough but with a bit of luck it will deter people and reduce the ridiculous queues in the car park.....well I can live in hope anyway! If the info is correct, it looks like we will be paying around £1 per litre.
cheaper than last year but still pricey!
Germany €1.074 (Super 95 RON), €1.149 (Super Plus 98 RON), €1.015 (Diesel) 2009-01-02
