Just signed up for this Saturday with MSV - checked every weather site going before shelling out my £125, so here's hoping it stays dry'ish!

Anyone else going?

Oh, and if Mr Matt Sayle is around, I'd love some pics of my car!!

Erm, yes I'm sure - spoke to MSV earlier....

It's a novice sessioned day (only my third trackday) but I've booked some tuition to improve the performance of the squishy carbon-based life form behind the wheel...;)

Looks like it has been changed, front page of UK track days says bike track day which tallies with my list but if you click on the link the day dissapears (but nothing replaces it on the car list?)

Fantastic day, with some sunshine in the afternoon & dry all day.

Had some tuition in the morning and then they turned it into an open pitlane event from 11am onwards, so got loads of tracktime for the money.

Great circuit with lots of technical bits to try and get right on each lap!

I was there watching the stuff going on and took some photos. Mainly with the drifting course, but some of the track cars too.

Made a thread in the Photography Forum - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I had a wander over to the drifting boys - looked like a whole lot of fun!

I went to the 'trackday taster' on saturday at Oulton & it was great - did exactly what it said on the tin leaving you hungry for more!!

The drifting looked fantastic but would make me worry about my tyres!

ajprice - don't suppose u managed any shots of a silver M3 on the main track around lunchtime?

Cheers

Hi, no sorry I didn't see an M3 on the track. I was there for the morning and was busy in the cafe demolishing a cuppa and muffin at noon smile . There was a grey M3 on the drift track in the morning (pic in the photo thread, I think it was a CSL) was that you?

Booyakajon,

Were you the chap in the M3 on the 12:40 session? If so, I was driving the blue Impreza. Did you find any pictures?!

Hi Jon,

Sorry if i was holding you up! i'm itching to do another session but don't know if i want to do a day or another taster. I think some instruction would be very useful next time... How about you?

You weren't holding me up at all - just setting the pace! It seems much more difficult on the track without a car ahead of you.

I think a half day would be good & definitely some instruction. Not sure when though.
Did you get any insurance for the taster?
