Nurburgring - changes to entry barriers?

How come they've changed the entry barriers at the Ring?

The old ones used to be blue with a pad you could just tap the transponder against...

Any locals (Dale et al) know anything?

Eeh lad; when I first went the 'barriers' were temporary and on the short straight where the GP circuit joins.....

Quicker more advanced and reliablle barriers? The old ones were tempermental at times, a few times I've been stuck at them.

Agreed. My first trip in '97 was a different experience to last year

Exactly that

Trouble is, they've taken out the old ones and the new ones don't work

Could be fun come Easter time if they don't get it sorted
