Sorry if this seems like a daft question, but are there any tracks days out there that you know of that do not require the wearing of a helmet?
I am rather tall and cannot sit in my car with one on.....

Only the 'ring on a tourist day that I know of, if you are so inclined, can't think of any actual trackdays that would be so daft.

Not possible to come up with a seating position to solve the problem?

If its marginal a bit of reclining might get you there, otherwise I guess you're in for lower brackets or even a whole new seat.

What car?

I have an integra, built by little japanese people for little japanese people. Unfortunately the seat is quite low to the deck already.

I am 6'6" but have 35" inside leg (which is tiny) so have a ridiculously long back/neck/head. All out of proportion. I guess there's only one thing for it .... I'll have to get an e46 M3 without a sunroof....

Sounds like your only option is to go all "Italian" and have a very reclined setup, probably need to space the steering wheel to keep it in reach too.

That's a thought. If I space it enough, then I could just recline the seat.
I think that I'll try that, may be cheaper than a BMW!
