Hey there, just wanted a bit of advice from anyone that knows or has been to Keevil in the past. I've done a few track sessions in my Vette before but being on a real track, with real armco about I've always played pretty safe.

I'm looking at an airfeild day to get to grips, or should I say grip limits of the car. I've no doubt it can go a lot quicker than I'm capable but I wanted to do this somewhere that I can have a bit of run-off.

I particularly want to find out HOW this car reacts when it breaks traction at speed. IE will I feel it start to go and can correct or will I have tons of grip and then be facing backwards.

Is Keevil suitible for this kind of thing? Obviously I'm not gona go and Kamakazi myself out there and checking for other traffic will deffinatly be a must.

Advice? smile

Keeval is an excellant novice and intermediate track for safe learning thumbup

When I got my first tvr I wanted to know how it behaved in the twisty bits, and I used Keeval to learn on. It has plenty of run off on all the corners and has a nice mix of slow and fast sections...Very safe a MSE have great instructors to help along smile (spun my tiv 3 time on my first t/d there, with no damage paperbag, although my tyres took a bit of a hammering cool

Agree it is good for plenty of run-off areas, my only problem was the excessive stone chipping caused by a dirty track
