I`ve seen that there is a car trackday at Donnington this coming Sunday and did`nt know what the score was with regards to spectating? Is it allowed even if I`m not paying to use the track on the day? And anyone know when it all starts?

Thanks in advance.

Yep it's free to spectate.

Drivers briefing at 8.30am, on track from 9.00am. It's a sessioned day so they'll be 3 groups.

Lotus-on-Track have got one of the slots so they'll be a lot of elises in the 3rd group!

That`s great, thanks. Thinking of taking my lad along thats all and, did`nt want to dissapoint him by making a promise that comes to nothing.

Under 16's probably wont be allowed to view from the pit-lane/wall, but you'd probably get a better view from the grandstand anyway now that they've out a guardrail on the wall.
Usually the infield isn't open on trackdays but you should be able to walk/drive around the outside of the track as far as starkeys bridge.

NeilC - quite right on the pitlane/pitwall rule but this did`nt matter really. Was a great morning - should have asked if any one from here was going. Definately going to make more effort to go to others and to get my 4-year old lad some proper ear defenders of some sort as he found some of the cars a "bit noisy Daddy". Anyone any pics as I did`nt manage many?
