Saturday 18th April 2009
Bedford Autodrome
GT Circuit

The members of MiniTorque.com invite you to come join some of the fastest MINI's in the UK for a full day of track action at Bedford Autodrome on Saturday the 18th April 2009.

Bedford Autodrome is centrally located in England, just 6 miles north of Bedford. On the day we will be using the fantastic 4.2 mile GT Circuit, which is not only one of the longest trackday circuits in the country but also one of the safest. The run off areas allow you to explore your cars potential without the risk of damaging your pride and joy. Well... maybe your pride a little bit. This key feature means that this circuit is perfect for all levels of driving ability, from the track virgin through to track addict.

An open pit lane throughout the day means that you will have all the track time you can handle and with instruction available from fully qualified race instructors, you have the opportunity to really advance your track driving skills.

Timetable for the day:

07:30 Signing On
08:30 Briefing
09:00 Track Time Begins
12:30 Lunch
13:30 Track Time Restarts
17:00 Track Time Ends

The cost for the entire day is just £199 for unlimited laps of the track .

Extra costs are:

Additional Driver £35
Additional Passenger £25
Car Instruction £25
Helmet Hire £10

This event is not restricted to MINI's only so to book this fantastic track day then please use follow the link below to the Mini Torque page at Motorsportvision :

http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/minitorque

We look forward to meeting you at the track!

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone wishing to attend this event must be booked in as either a driver or passenger. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted at Bedford Autodrome. The noise limit at Bedford Autodrome is strictly 101db static, 87.5db drive-by and they apply a one strike and out rule. This means that cars that trigger the drive-by noise limit will not be allowed any further participation on the day.

Already booked on. Didn't know it was a Mini day! I'm taking my Westy along and weirdly my mate was going to drive up as well and come out for a few Pax laps in.... his mini cooper S1!!

So I am sure I will be taking that out for a few laps as well now WHEN I have turned the boost up enough on the Westy to trip the noise meters!

It's not a MINI day it's just there will be a fair few going from MiniTorque so we thought we'd promote it on here too.

Westy will be awesome fun there and doubt it will be too hard to trip the noise meters on the day either biggrin

Will be a red BMW e36 318iS (my track car). My housemate took the last slot - will be in a silver S2000. We've been doing quite a few regularly, so you might recognise our cars smile

Nice one! I know there will be at least one other S2000 in attendance, looking forward to seeing yours, believe there will be a few track cars there on the day.

I'll be there again - Black MG ZT190.

There will also be a few hot Audis there too - S4s, RS4s and RS6s. A couple have some serious power.

I'm on the reserve list for Saturday - didn't quite book in time. If you know anyone with a place who can't make it, let me know.

Hi guys n girls I'm Nick's housemate with the S2000. Just tested my camera and microphone setup and its all working great, so should be able to get some decent on track footage from the day.

You do realise I might need to be a cheeky beast and grab a looksie around your GT3 Dan? Its certainly a car I'd love to own at some point and it would be great to get a look around one...

I'd offer you a look around my s2000 but theres not much to see in comparison !

Yea no worries.. She has only been out of storage for a few days, so not too clean..

I am not the fastest drive and only do 3-4 laps in a row, but feel free to jump in for a PAX lap.
