Has anyone done SS South? Any thoughts, good?
If you have never driven any of the configurations at Silverstone you will like it, IMO overall it's more interesting than the National. I know some other configuations quite well, so I found driving the Southern circuit a bit strange;
Abbey (now a right-hander) is not where you expect it to be and then you go through Ireland the 'wrong' way and then find yourself turning right in the middle of Becketts.
Here's a video for you to see the configuration. I enjoyed it, although silverstone is a very wide track so speed perception was quite different from normal for me.
