Anyone know how to find photos online from Lee Marshall Photography? I can find their website but no links to tracks/dates to look at photos of your car. TIA.

Hi!

As a result of demand we are now selling photos during the trackday rather than on the web. However if you want to see your photos and perhaps order, I can send your sample images via email.

Let me know the details of your car by email to photos@motorsportvision.co.uk and I will get the samples out to you asap.

Thanks, will email you.

Gary - your 350Z looked very nice. I was in the black E36 M3 - the one with the carefully adapted splitter as the day progressed...!

Gary, that 350Z looked great. I was out there in the blue BMW 130i M-Sport. Had a great couple of laps hanging on to the tail of one of the E46 M3's - though couldn't stay anywhere near the CSL's - blimey they're quick!

Cheers guys!

Ah yes I saw your duct tape repair! Did you damage it again later on in the day as I remember your car driving past me in the pits making scraping sounds?!

I think I was parked up next to your 130 at one point...looked nice, bet it was pretty capable on the track!

The CSL's are quick but couldn't catch my mates M Coupe on the straights! Think I would definitely take the CSL over most cars though, simply awesome imo.

Yeah, I did the splitter again and the lower metal bar holding it on was dragging on the ground!

Gary, the 130i is pretty impressive on track for a road-biased car. It can carry good speed through the corners, and has enough grunt to make the corners fun! (although I really could do with fitting that Quaife Limited Slip Diff that Birds of Uxbridge offer). Straight line speed is pretty good as well - certainly enough to keep in touch with an E46 M3 within the confines of a track. Of course, once the M3 reaches the upper limits of its rev band, where the real power kicks in, it starts to stretch away. But then again, by this time, you're usually back into the bends again and the gap closes up.
It's a do-everything car really. It can do the practical stuff, and also do the fun stuff. The one thing I would say though is that it could do with losing a few pounds as the brake pedal can get a bit long after a few hard charging laps!

What mods were you running on the 350Z? and how did you find it on track?

Yeah I had a similar issues- heavy car and some brake fade!

Here's the spec on my 350:

HKS Hipermax RS coilovers
Cusco Anti Roll Bars
Cusco Front Camber arms
SPC rear camber/toe kit
HKS Racing Suction Kit
Motordyne Plenum Spacer
Recaro seats
Sparco harness bar
Sabelt 3" 4 point harness
Goodridge Lines
Ferodo racing ds2500 pads
Scorpion exhaust
Toyo 888 255/35 F and 275/35 R
Rota GTRs silver with polished lip- 9.5J and et20 all round

The geo setup I have makes it fairly lively! I got told off for 'drifting' but did spin out on a couple of occasions! All good fun though.

Hi all, I was at Bedford with the grey M3 E92.

Had good fun. Car had RS29 pads fitted with AP600 brake oil and brake lines and it performed very well.

Anyone knows what that blue Saab cabrio had underneath the hood? laugh

Just as a comparison what speed were you guys hitting on the back straight?

I was hitting just over 140 on my Exige. Apparently the 997 GT3 can hit 160 easily so I'm told.

140 but not sure if more as I didnt look before braking.

Gary, I got them from BM Sport (Bexleyheath) but had a deal on a package of works.

How did the exhaust sound from the pits?

Like thunder! lol. I love the V8 in the M3. What exhaust are you running, looked very shiny.

I think mine was circa 130ish on the straight but tbh I sometimes cruise down that bit; save fuel and gives the brakes a chance to cool a tad before hitting that quick left right and the hard left at the bottom. What speed was you hitting the left right would be more interesting lol

Was you driving the blue S1 or that black S2? Both looked excellent imo. I want one, in orange lol.
