Spa Accommodation
Discussion
I've been looking into this for the end of June.
The two hotels nearest to spa were quite expencive, so I've looked further a field.
We ended up hiring an apartment here http://www.domainedechodes.be/site/ doubt its the nicest but was cheap and we're only there for 2 nights so it will do.

Staying in Francorchamps itself is ££££. We stayed in the Roannay (sp?!) a couple of times, but have since moved further out to a gorgeous country hotel. Very cheap, just can't remember the name.
Will get back with the name...

Hi Matt
This is where we'll be staying on the next visit http://www.malmedy-hotel.net/
There are a few nice places in Malmedy which is very handy for the circuit.

t version.
Pros
It's a few minutes from the Circuit with 2-3 petrol stations on the way. THey're polite and speak good English.
Cons
Beds are horribly uncomfortable, chalets can have shockingly steep stairs to get into them, Their bar and restuarant wasn't open when we went there (June last year). You may end up next door to a half naked fat grumpy German man like we did.
Not sure I'd use it again if I could find somewhere for a little bit more a night.
I have been to spa for the last couple of years and stayed at Domaine des hautes fagnes link as follows http://www.domaine-des-hautes-fagnes.com/site/, lovely hotel, staff really nice, it has pool, bar and sauna, just right after a day at the best track in the world. the Renault f1 team also use it to

We stayed here last time, not far from the circuit and a petrol station just up the road. They have an off street parking area as well if you want, although it is dark. This is where we'll be staying on the next visit http://www.malmedy-hotel.net/
