Hi, ive got a bmw e36 328 track car, want to put upgraded/race cams in it, im after advice to what make i should buy.

I believe that Cat Cams do a good range for this engine.

I think (not 100% sure) you mean US spec M3 cams.

Depends on whether or not the OP's engine has single or double VANOS I think.

M52B28 is single VANOS isn't it? It's only the "tu" version in the E46 with the double VANOS IIRC

Yep I don't think any E36's apart from the M3 had double vanos...

Even though my E36 has an M44 and not an M52. I can not recommend catcams highly enough. Transformed my engine, I bet yours would fly with them.

Another option is Schrick which offer a wide spectrum of cams, from milder drop-in types upwards.
