Ahh, it said lunch somewhere on the website, I just assumed.
I'm having some nerves about mine (it is quite loud) but I'm sure it's OK.. only a diesel haha.
Mine's a TVR Chimaera. Still got a standard silencer, but I have removed the catalytic converters. I do have extra silencers I can attach to the tail pipes, but even with those I can be very marginal for 101dB. I was 103dB last time at Bedford, due to atmospheric conditions (damp and murky first thing), but so many cars failed that morning that they let us take our chance with the drive by limit, which is the one the Bedford Council monitors, and we were all ok. There should be several slightly quieter TVRs there a week on Friday.

You can go wrong.....if your car is 105 dB, like mine!
Eep. What car is it you're driving pal?I'm having some nerves about mine (it is quite loud) but I'm sure it's OK.. only a diesel haha.
If you really are worried, try testing it with an iPhone app called Decibel 10th beforehand. The test is to hold the phone/meter half a metre upwards and outwards from your tail pipe and rev to 3/4 of the redline. Or phone them up (01234 332400), ask nicely, and go along between now and then for an informal noise test - remember, they want to get you on the track, so are usually very helpful. There is a lunch break..... the hot food is pretty good, it's between £5 and £10 and much more fun than sitting on your own in the pits eating your sandwiches.
Ahh, I had guessed it was a TVR! I did some googlings and found a lot of people who had TVR's had issues.
I'm sure it would be fine, if your thunderous engine can get past on the drive by limit (I think it's 87db from 20 meters) then I'm sure I will be fine.
Bit far to go just for a noise test so I'll try out the iPhone app.
Only small thing is my car won't rev past 2500 when stationary! You can get around it by turning off the ESP but I'm not telling them that!
should be a good day anyway, first trackday in my own car (others have been in rentacars!) so I'll be taking it careful.

I'm keen to hear how you get on, this sounds like the same situation we are in...i.e. booked for Bedford GT on Feb 16th but the GT isnt available due to works on the circuit.
The SEN seems to incorporate most of the interesting bends/sections anyway, but still keen to hear any feedback on the day etc. (I guess we loose the pits/facilities by the pits as a result....)

I did the SEN two years ago - and you're right, you lose the pits, so if you want the very limited garage space you will need to book. The SEN pits are just before the second corner on the full circuit, the tight left hander at the end of the short straight that has the drive-by noise meter. It's not a bad circuit. I'm 90 miles north of Bedford - I only asked the previous poster for location in case you were nearby and we could do a noise comparison to put your mind at rest.
