Silverstone GP Weds 13th May

Was anyone else there on PH? We were in the yellow 996 GT3.
All of the other 911s there were incredibly quick. I was also particularly impressed with the pace of the Golf R, who we bumped into at the petrol station before hand!
Some video of my fairly average driving there, should have some more vids later on - http://youtu.be/kJrwfNwR63w (probably best to skip to around 4:30, past the warm up laps).

Yes, was in the cream Speciale.
Nice video, can see you shaking your head for over shooting the bend after the pits ... Its a bugger of a bend, particularly if you hit that green stuff when its wet. So tempting to going in with too much entry speed, have had a few spins there in the past

You're certainly lacking in confidence at Copse. If you back off you move the weight to the rear and reduce the grip on the front and understeer more. Try reducing your entry speed then getting back on the power (which will push the front down) as you apex and then out of the corner. Once you have more confidence of the exit, you'll be able to take more speed in. Look through the corner too - don't fixate on the apex.
Chris.
Chris.
Thanks for the tips.
Found that corner extremely difficult, it seemed to have a less grippy surface than other corners, as you say Chris probably just my technique though. First time at Silverstone so hadn't learned the track properly there - kept confusing that corner with Abbey hence taking too much entry speed, the track leading up to each is surprisingly similar! The vid was my second session of the day.
Your car looked awesome by the way Rob, lovely colour.
