I'm struggling to find dates I can do in June at my favourite tracks and one of the only ones available is Blyton Park. I know a few people who aren't keen on it but wondered if people though it was worth doing?
I've done Cadwell and Oulton etc and know they're quite technical so don't want to be bored to death but just wondered what other people think of it as a track? smile

Good fun and you shouldn't get bored but it isn't another Cadwell or Oulton.

Was at Blyton couple weeks back as Steve says it's no Cadwell/Oulton it doesn't have the height change going on for a start has plenty of run off too in most places.

I enjoy Blyton, though find it very tiring I am pretty battered after a day at Blyton, compared to other tracks, It's good fun runs counter clockwise so you pass on the right not the left, surface is in great condition and its well run at least the few days I've done there have been well organised.

I quite like Blyton. It`s not the best circuit in the world, but it`s only an hour and a half away from me and has a decent set of corners. Usually lots of tracktime too.

I was quite impressed with Blyton, it's not just another airfield with cones on it, proper little circuit and its only downside is lacking elevation change. The new Eastern layout is more technical and I think more rewarding, but Outer with the chicane on the back straight is still good fun. I often see days for £99 or £109, which is great value for a decent circuit.

Grip levels vary around the track (some of it is newer tarmac), and to me it felt very slippy when wet, but my car is generally crap in the wet anyway. It's hard on your brakes.

As others have said - it's about a hour and a half from me too, which helps - an enjoyable alternative.
