Golf GTD Mk7 tyre pressures for the track?

Off to Mallory Sat for a day in the family bus.

Recommended cold tyre pressure is 2.7 bar front and 3 rear - any recommendations for the track? Perhaps as low as 2 bar?

Indeed - my seventeen year old daughter will be driving......

Why would you go so low ? At her age she might not load the tyres as much as a briskly driven car on the open road. Unless of course she is a racing driver. I would start at 10% less than road pressure and come in to check the gain in pressure, if any. Too low a pressure will chew the shoulders, particularly the front outside ones as there's no neg camber presumably.
